Amy Lynch pioneered Gen IQ (Generational Intelligence), the practical application of generational studies to leadership, marketing and innovation. She speaks from experience, having built businesses, grown them and sold them. Along the way, she has managed—and has been managed by—4 very different generations. She brings that hard-won experience along with been-there humor to every keynote.
Amy began her career as a journalist, writing about the (then new) Millennial generation. Later she became a professional speaker, consultant and author addressing generational challenges in the workplace. For more than a decade, her interactive sessions have helped companies solve problems related to talent, diversity, innovation, leadership and marketing across generations.
An entrepreneur, stand-up comic and triathlete, Amy brings terrific stories to the stage, along with a powerful understanding of the generations that make up organizations. An advocate for every generation, she translates complex demographics and trends into actionable strategies.
Amy has spoken to 100s of groups from MTV to Reynolds, Stanford University, J&J and the staff of the U.S. Senate. A frequent contributor to Entrepreneur magazine, she has been quoted in Fast Company, The Washington Post, USA Today, Boston Globe, Huffington Post and NBC Evening News, among others. Amy’s new book, Gen IQ: Grow Your Generational Intelligence and Thrive Through Change, is forthcoming from Nautilus Press.
